Transforming Vetrotech’s digital presence to boost lead generation

The Vetrotech Saint-Gobain project revolutionised its digital presence by migrating and revamping its website on a new Drupal platform. The initiative enhanced security, flexibility, and performance, while resolving UX issues, optimising SEO, and boosting lead generation.

Context & Challenges
Vetrotech’s most important aim was to turn an informative website, into a lead-generation platform, to help boost sales. Vetrotech also faced a number of challenges when it came to its digital transformation, including:
- Needing to consolidate 19 language and country variations into a unified Drupal platform while simplifying content management.
- Migrating from a single SAGE CRM instance to three Salesforce instances for different regions.
- Aligning the platform with stringent IT security and compliance standards.
Our approach and solution
JAKALA transformed Vetrotech’s website into a lead generation powerhouse, increasing business enquiries. We expanded their global reach, adding two new countries and increasing language support from 17 to 19.
The JAKALA team addressed a complex content migration for over 10,000 translations using a hybrid automated/manual approach to preserve existing approvals and workflows.
We also worked to enhance their UX with improved navigation, forms, and personalised journeys. We also optimised SEO to address duplicate content issues and boost organic visibility. We also had to develop micro-services and third-party integrations to enhance customer value.
All of this needed to be achieved while ensuring compliance with Saint-Gobain’s IT security guidelines. We needed to integrate seamlessly with Salesforce CRM and OneTrust for improved data management. Lastly, we had to consolidate multiple regional websites into a single Drupal instance to streamline operations and minimise TCO.
