Building a Robust Platform to Expand Learning Experiences and Increase Demand
Published on April 29, 2024
Worldview Stanford was a Stanford University program. It offered quality online courses for professionals to study the complex issues shaping our future.
A new digital identity and platform helped Worldview Stanford expand their learning experiences and increase the demand for new online courses and material. We built a site for Worldview Stanford that could share content and lessons directly and engagingly to all its course participants.
Context & Challenges
Worldview Stanford needed a new digital identity and website for the program. Participants had a difficult time finding the tools they needed to engage with Worldview's courses, so we were asked to help build a site that could share content and lessons in a direct and engaging manner to all of its course participants.
Our approach and solution
Once we worked with Worldview to outline areas of improvement identified on their site, we created a new website for Worldview´s program with two distinct parts: a public site to inform visitors about the learning opportunities Worldview offered and a private platform to bring personal learning experiences to Worldview’s participants.
We developed a complex, yet user-friendly content architecture that supported web pages, user posts, instructor posts, images, PDFs, video, audio, and more. This custom Drupal system simplified the management of content and provided flexibility for Worldview’s site administrators. According to Worldview, our efforts helped increase the demand for new courses and material.
