HOLMDEL NJ – Leading global digital agency, JAKALA (formerly FFW), today announced it is a winner of a 2022 Acquia Engage Award. JAKALA won the Digital Scale award for its work with Hologic, Inc., an innovative medical technology company primarily focused on improving women's health, on their groundbreaking "Well Woman'' campaign. The campaign has promoted health screenings for early detection of breast, colon, and cervical cancers; osteoporosis; and other concerning health conditions affecting women.
The Acquia Engage Awards recognize the most outstanding digital experiences that organizations around the world are building with the Acquia Open Digital Experience Platform (DXP). This latest honor marks JAKALA's fifth Acquia Engage award.
This award recognizes the work of JAKALA and its client, Hologic, developing a microsite serving as the hub to where millions of users were driven from a national TV advertising campaign featuring Mary J. Blige.
"Hologic needed a microsite to effectively support this campaign – able to handle the traffic of millions of people visiting the site, effectively communicate important info to a spectrum of audiences, and demonstrate world class branding – with the goal of spreading awareness and spurring engagement of this life-saving noble program," said Emily Becker, JAKALA Senior Strategic Account Manager.

This year’s competition attracted a record 120 entries. Each submission was presented to a panel of respected digital experts, who evaluated them on functionality, integration, performance, user experience, and other criteria.
