Representing JAKALA at the National Retail Federation's 'Big Show' in NYC

In January, members of our JAKALA Americas and Italia teams had the honor of representing our company at one of the most important events for the Retail Industry globally, the National Retail Federation’s Annual ‘Big Show’ in New York City. Over 40,000 retail industry leaders representing many of the world’s largest and renowned brands attended the event, providing a unique opportunity to share ideas and our JAKALA expertise, and learn about conceptual innovations and future trends empowering us to stay on the forefront of innovation for our leading retail clients, like Amplifon, Estee-Lauder, and Piaggio. 

This event provided a valuable opportunity to team up with our close strategic partner, Esri (Learn more about our partnership with Esri). We had the pleasure of co-leading a keynote with them, highlighting the impact of our work in Location Intelligence, GeoAI, and J-Hexagon for our world-leading luxury and retail clients. Titled “Speed, Strategy & Scale: Driving New Market Growth with GeoAI”, the presentation was a spotlight of, how through location intelligence and AI, we were able to improve our Italy-based global leading motorized scooter manufacturing client’s media investment ROI driving a +15% in conversion and a reduction of -5% in CPA, generating over 14M impressions in just two months.

The event itself was a fantastic experience, but perhaps the most important aspects of this event were not at all a part of the event itself, but rather, outside of it.

Hosted Breakfast with Top Italian Retail Executives

JAKALA hosted an exclusive breakfast for over 40 Italian retail executives at Cafe’ Ginori, inside the famous Bergorf Goodman department store. This was a unique opportunity to share ideas and discuss emerging trends amongst industry leaders who are at the forefront of innovation in retail. This marked the 3rd consecutive year in which JAKALA kicked off in an intimate and beautifully curated event at the start of NRF Big Show.

Breaking Bread and Discussing Future Innovation with 70 of the Leading Minds of Retail

JAKALA co-hosted a dinner for 70 global executives representing many of the most renowned brands in luxury and global retail, and we were honored to be joined by a special guest, Italian Consul General Fabrizio Di Michele. At the dinner, JAKALA General Manager, Marco Di Dio Roccazzella, gave an inspiring speech alongside Giuseppe Stigliano, President of Spring Studios, and Marta Frattini, a leader in Adobe's Digital Strategy Group, debating the latest trends in technology with a focus on AI adoption, challenges and opportunities, the importance of the foundational work around data and the seismic impact of personalization at scale to build more meaningful relationships with customers.

NRF was a whirlwind of ideas, connections, and innovation among the leading minds and brands of retail. The insights and connections gained at NRF reaffirm our commitment to driving innovation and impact in retail for our clients, and we look forward to continuing to forge the future of retail at next year’s Big Show.
