JAKALA announces the strategic acquisition of GotU, a pioneering entity in local advertisement for SMEs and Retail Brands. The acquisition aims to enhance JAKALA’s value proposition through a comprehensive end-to-end offering: a significant step that not only solidifies the company’s position as a reference point in the digital advertising market, but also strengthens its expertise in AdTech.
The GotU Platform
GotU, an international entity with various clients across Europe, North America, and South Africa, has developed a multichannel Ad platform based on Artificial Intelligence for creating and optimizing advertising campaigns across digital channels. The algorithm precisely targets users aligned with the client's objectives, defines and implements the best optimization strategies, ensuring guaranteed results and avoiding budget wastage. This solution, tailored for SMEs and Retail companies, creates scalable communication plans focused on drive-to-store and drive-to-e-commerce. GotU’s expertise with channels like Google and Meta has already led to the creation of approximately 400,000 advertising campaigns and around 12,000 monthly social media posts, addressing the efficiency a the effectiveness needs of SMEs and Retail brands.
The Acquisition
The integration of GotU into JAKALA brings along 52 new employees, joining the existing team of over 320 experts in the Digital & Media Area, marking an expansion into new client segments in SMEs and Retail.
Through the utilization of the GotU platform, JAKALA reinforces its specialization and expertise in AI-driven digital transformation. Furthermore, we aim to maximize synergies between the platform and the Group's other technologies, further elevating the uniqueness of our advertising and communication offerings for clients and prospects.
